This h mart is organized and clean like most of their other stores. The snack and beverage sections are packed with so much variety of brands. Their fruit and produce section is usually fresh but I noticed that some of the leafy vegetables are at times a bit wilted or maybe over drenched with water. It's a hit or a miss sometimes.

My siren looked into my eyes once again and asked, "Can we go in???" I was thinking to myself, WTH, going to the Asian grocery store on a date??? Well, this was after our lovely experience to the Taiwanese tea shop in the same shopping center. I guess this is part of the whole experience. My lovely lady was going to hear it from me as she shopped for some fruits and vegetables. The H-Mart here has a lovely layout. It seemed smaller in scale. My first time visiting the store here but I've been in the much larger one in Buena Park. I don't know, it was confusing, I was under the spell of my beauty and she wanted to pick up a few items on our date. Just watching a gorgeous woman in heels and a mini rocking it down the produce aisle was fantastic. LOL. It was the most enjoyable grocery shopping I've ever experienced! Her favorite fruit was passion fruit. I asked her, how do you know which to pick for the best flavor? She said, go for the ones showing redness in the skin. She expertly chose between two of the packages and even pierced the plastic wrap to feel the fruit. She chose, I was amused. She picked a package of dark red cherries along the way toward the sweet potatoes. Then she asked me, what the sweetest variety of the several to pick from... oh geez! IMHO, I pointed to the ones that looked familiar to me. It was from the Melissa's brand. She loves sweet potatoes. Nice, I love them too. Then she saw lotus root in the cooler! This is an item I personally don't shop for but I was intrigued. She asked me, do you know this vegetable? How can I not, I love fried sesame balls filled with golden lotus paste. And the final stop was for sweet navel oranges. She went for the best-looking orange orbs. We walked through the maze of products to the checkout stand. I placed the goods on the belt and I accepted a grocery bag. I usually bring my own. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle is my motto. I was surprised there was no bag charge on the receipt but that doesn't mean that they do not charge for them. I think I was the luckiest man at that moment. I got the bag for free! Hahaha.

Likes: + I enjoy getting fresh seaweed salad and kimchi from here. + Pleasant place for some grocery shopping. . Ample but often crowded parking. . A little pricey. Non-likes: - I used to enjoy getting the hot stone meal from the food court inside this H Mart, but they started overselling rice and little of meat, so I stopped dining here.

Been to many H-Mart locations and I would say, this one is very well organized and clean. As soon as you enter thru the fresh product and fruits, you will get to the prepared hot food and also several restaurants and other shops. You can find hot food in the warm case too. Always have plenty of prepped items you can take home to finish. Love love this location

Clean hmart with two food shops connect inside. Not a huge food court option like some hmart but it'll do. There's plenty of ready to eat food. They have a warm section and food left out. Very affordable and quick, grab and go meal options Lot of delicious snacks! Check out their anime drinks section! So cute and they taste like our typical sodas, or similar! Fast check out, kind cashier. They also offer chop sticks as needed! Just ask!

So many H Mart to choose from in Irvine, very smart. This is the closest location to me, and I try to go around 11am. I find the market side has the least amount of people around this time and I love to browse every aisle and look at everything. I have always found H Mart to be clean, well stocked, and a good variety of items. The good 1. A lot of fresh produce, both vegetables and fruits. 2. Fresh seafood. 3. Great selection of BBQ meats to choose from The bad 1. I am afraid of the parking lot so I try to park far away as possible. 2. It can get really busy at certain times.

This place makes me so happy. The quality of the produce and meat is always top notch. I love being able to pick up small packages of banchan to take for lunch. The parking lot can be a little dicey but nothing that would stop me from shopping there. I had to ask for help finding gochujang and one of the employees walked me right up to it. I wish this was closer to home, I would be there more often.
